The exhibition entitled Nepal Art Now was held in the Weltmuseum in Vienna, Austria from April 11 through November 2019. The exhibition bridged a gap between European and non-European arts, and was the first major international exhibition of contemporary art from Nepal. Nepal Art Now was curated by Dina Bangdel, Swosti Rajbhandari Kayastha and Christian Schicklgruber.
In a gallery in the mezzanine of the museum, Claire Burkert curated an exhibit of Janakpur artists Anuraghi Jha, Remani Mandal, Rebti Mandall, Suhagbati Saha, Madhumala Mandal, Manjula Thakur, Sailo Yadav, Sudhira Karna, Komal Purbe, Rajkumari Mandal, Nirmala Ram, Renu Yadav, Pano Das, and Indrakala Nidhi.
