Description

Pano Das captures the work of a family in her paintings.  In her painting, she depicts a woman carrying home grown chillies on her bicycle to sell in a local market in Janakpur while her husband sprinkles fertilizers on vegetables. The woman is very fond of her pet rhino which she carries on her tractor after ploughing her field.

• Materials: Handmade lokta paper (indigenous to Nepal) and acrylic paint.
